Dual sheath redux problems (swords on the same side of the hip)
When I equip different swords they go on the same side of the hip clipping into eachother[puu.sh]
But If the swords are the same [puu.sh] it works
I installed DSR like every tutorial says
installed it (no sword on back because i dislike it) , made patch for it with skyproc
added immersive animations , installed fnis ,did the fnis generator thing
installed XPMS (default , not back 1handed)
Can't find any way to fix this , tried to switch to equipping overhaul but the same exact thing happens

XPMS has not been updated for a long time. As Neovalen recommends, you should try XPMSE instead. If it does not directly fix the problem, then XPMSE MCM allows you to positon those weapons as you like - for your self and/or NPCs a like.

Your MO left panel has not bee sorted correctly. It should be sorted manually to present the LOOT sorted right panel.

XPMSE is currently loosing conflicts for other mods in your left panel. It should always win ALL conflicts againts other mods in your load order.

You have files in your Overwrite folder. It should always be clear. I did not see any tool data output folders, so I suspect that you are storing them to Overwrite? Don't. That causes a lot of problems.

This post was made especially with MO in mind. Give it a good read. :)

Sorry to revive this dead thread, but i seem to have a similar problem... 2 sword are fine and carryed each on each side of the body, but if i have for example a sword and a 1h axe i always carry them on one side and the animation stays the same. :(
I write here because i dont have mod organizer so i dont know what you were talking about. Is there maybe any way to fix this problem during mod installation or in LOOT?

Which mod manager you are using?

Are you certain that you are using Groovtama's version of XP32 skelton? XPMS is quite out of date, so I recommend making sure that you are using XPMSE.

Okay. Let's make sure that everything is installed correctly and run in proper order.

  • Reinstall XPMSE. Make sure that you say "Yes to All" when it asks to overwrite files in NMM. Do not allow any mods to overwrite files from XPMSE for now on.

  • If you are using TES5Merged and/or Bashed Patch, then create them now.

  • Run Dual Sheath Redux SkyProc tool. Make sure it fihishes.

  • Run Fores New Idles and make sure that there are no warnings. Each warning counts. If you do have warnings, then copy the content of the white field from FNIS and post the FULL log here.

  • Check XPMSE MCM in game. Try to swap weapon positions from MCM and see if it works correctly.

Ive got that same problem and followed your instructions yet the problem stays.
my main hand ax is on the other side of where the animation wants to pull the weapon out. I can't remember if Dual sheath redux used to have its own animations for pulling out weapons but I don't seem to have them anymore.
