Sapphire is missing?
She has disappeared from The Bee and The Barb for no reason? I already checked the Flaggon to no avail. Any ideas?

Possible that she fell victim to a vampire attack if you have Dawnguard DLC added. Had a vamp kill Adriane Avanechi in Whiterun before I could get all of her little quests done .so I know that its a possibility.

Sapphire is protected and can only be killed by the player.

Reading thru the wiki on protected NPCs, if you don't have the later 1.9+ Skyrim AND the Patch then a protected NPC CAN be killed by other than the player if they are in bleedout status and hit again or are hit by AOE damage. Its a bug that was fixed by the Patch. So it's still possible she can be killed by NPCs if the player doesnt have that update installed.

Since the game is updated automatically, everyone has the latest version (that's the Update.esm), so what you are saying is fundamentally wrong. Also, that was back in March, 2013 that the last update to the game was made. There are no non updated Oldrims.

Actually I didn't say anything wrong... That is exactly what the wiki says and if you kinda scan up there a little slower you'll see that I said "IF you don't have........"

I never stated anything that wasn't true.
And actually there are Oldrims still out there. I bought the game on the cd in 2011 and it's not updated. IF I were to load it on a new system from the disk, then that bug COULD come into play. Not saying it would definitely happen, just that it COULD happen.

If you interacted with Saphire, she may be in the Thieve's guild headquarters.
