Need a Base Location Idea for Guild Starter Mod
I got the guild starter mod, mainly as a means to help keep my followers all in one place. However I don't know where to put the HQ marker. I've been thinking about putting it a fort I can clear out, but they'll just get taken over by the Imperials or Stormcloaks afterwards. Does anyone know a good fort which will stay abandoned after being cleared out?

Well the forts that don't get chose by any sides in the CW will still have bandits respawn at them, so you're gonna want a location that doesn't have any enemies to begin with. The only one that comes to my mind is the abandoned prison along the road between Windhelm and Darkwater Crossing. (There's also the dwemer tower in the Reach, but that'd be cramped with more than three people in it.)

In the alternative you might want to take this time to learn how to use the creation kit and either make your own place, or pick a fort that doesn't get used in either the CW or other quest and set the enemies there to not respawn.

You may want to take a look at this:

There's various fort and castle player home mods, too, if you don't want to risk a vanilla one resetting.

Do you know any mods that place a fort in Haafingar? I'm planning on buying Proudspire Manor and I'd like to have my fort nearby

Well, this is not a fort - it is a mod that adds clothing merchants, but the space inside is huge and totally under utilized.

UNP Clothing Merchants - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24684

It is located down the road from Solitude, on the way to Dragon Bridge. Sort of like an underground bunker.

Not really my sort of thing, I'm afraid! I tend to go for cute little houses :)

Alright, but I'm looking for a place that's either abandoned or I can clear out. It'd be weird to just have a bunch of other NPCs around.

How about Broken Oar Grotto? Kill off all the bad guys and take it over! As long as you return every couple of days I don't think the cell resets.
That might work. Thanks.
