Ah, the old quick save trap. Sadly, this isn't going to help you now, but moving forward, make sure that you make regular physical saves. Quick saves over-ride the existing save so you never have a backstop when things go wrong a bit later down the line.
Having done a quick google, several people have suggested using the Ice Form shout on him. Seems a bit far fetched to me but no harm in trying.
Also, I know people are wary of using console commands but you could try approaching the temple and the moveto player command.
In this case, the moveto player command teleports an npc to your location. Open the console, click Erandur (a bunch of numbers and letters should appear the top of the window). Then move to someplace else, open the console again and type:
moveto player
If it doesn't work, you may have selected some invisible object (such as a fog cloud) instead of him. This may take you multiple attempts, annoyingly enough.
If that's too complicated for you, you can also try using a shout on him. Fus ro dah, Ice Form, maybe a few others that force him to move or fall down or something. Altnertively, you could just run into him (this should make him shift backwards a bit). If that doesn't work, you can also attack him and force him to one knee (don't worry, you can't kill him). When he gets back up, he shouldn't be hostile to you, and hopefully he'll start behaving normally again.
Honestly though, I think the moveto player command is the most popular way to fix this. I'm just saying there's alternatives if you can't/don't want to do that.
The only time I was really stuck I used the moveto player when standing in front of the door.
And it's never a wise move to fast travel E from Dawnstar to the temple. Just let him plod his world weary way up there while you plod obediently behind him. The old geezer just can't be rushed...
Open console (tilde key)
Type prid 24280 and press enter
then type moveto player and press enter
Close console (tilde key)
Should be there.
The RefID is different for each player character. There's no way to predict what RefID any npc will have. The only way to find it, is to find the npc in-game and select them through the console. Their RefID is the hexadecimal number that appears at the top of the console window when you select them.
Actually if you look at the UESP wiki and the ESO Wiki the ref id for Erandur is constant. You find this with most items and people. For example Lydia is always A2C94. The only time I have found character ref id's differ is if you've messed about with the console and made a copy rather than resurrected the original.
