Main menu stuck on dragon logo no fog

I just mass installed about 70 or so mods after upgrading computers and reinstalling my mod list bit by bit, and then I go to load skse and the game loads in and it stays on the dragon logo. No fog no menu no nothing I currently have 175 mods installed I have a ryzen 5 2600 a gtx 1080 ti and 16 gigs of ram so I don't think its my specs. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced.

Maybe it's just taking a while to load. How long did you wait before closing the game?

I sometimes need to wait ~10 seconds because of the crapton of mods I need to load.

I bought Skyrin on steam, and it has a lot of flaws

Load order can cause that. Accidentally adding an SE mod will cause that too. I once added an Oblivion mod by mistake. But you need to provide more information, such as the tools you used to add and sort the mods.

I got my LE retail and it stopped working because of mods and can no longer be fixed and had over 400 mods installed and SE wasn't even out yet so yeah what ralphtobybob said

I had the retail LE DVD, too. I break the install regularly, but it's never become unusable.
If I can't figure out the mod causing the problem by uninstalling them, I just delete the SKSE and Scripts directories and reinstall the known problem free mods. I've had problems with Wrye Bash not completely installing or uninstalling all files. Interesting NPCs, for instance.

In one instance, it was a SKSE .dll file from a mod that kept the game from starting. The corrected dll though was only available on another site. Luckily someone else had already done the troubleshooting and posted the info to the mod's forum.

can you show us your Mod load order though. we need to see your mods if they aren't steam mods and do you use loot if so and what mod manager do you use (Vortex, MO2, NMM)

Vortex has LOOT built in, so yes, you do have it. It sorts automatically (or should, at least). That said, it doesn't always get the order right.

Anyway,

I just skimmed through your load order. There are a bunch of mods I don't know, so I can't tell if they're the issue, but I noticed a few other problems:

- Your load order seems completely random. Make sure you got auto sort enabled in Vortex. Like I said before, it usually gets it right, but if individual mods require specific load orders, it might cause issues.

- I see some JK city mod esp's. There's an all-in-one version available, so you could save some esp slots with that.

- Seems like you got a "main menu.esp" in there. Seems a little sus to me.

I however do use both loot and Vortex just in case and also use TES5Edit (The SE version of xEdit of course since I have been playing SE)

For the spoiler free load order how do I make it spoiler free? And as for the main menu mod I’ve had it for a while all it does is add character slots to the main menu when you try to load a save to make it more organized but like I said I’ve had it for a while so I’m not sure if it’s the problem

Sort your load order with LOOT. Only then would any help provided here be relevant.
