Farengar meets Arch-Mage

So after many years hiatus, I recently started a fresh playthrough again. One where I join the Stormcloak Rebellion and the Dark Brotherhood, liberating Skyrim and assassinating the Emperor, before I do anything else, to see how that effects other quests. Well, it turns out that is not entirely possible, as Jarl Balgruuf will not give Ulfric a response until you get the dragonstone and kill your first dragon.

But that got me wondering: How does Farengar treat you, if you are already the arch-mage upon first meeting him?

Since I wanted to liberate Skyrim before doing the College quests, this means I've already met Farengar. So I'd have to start a new game to answer my question, if nobody else knows the answer -- something I'd be willing to do, but hope will not be necessary.

He doesn't acknowledge it unfortunately:

His dialogue upon completion of trading will continue to say, "You know, if you've got the aptitude, you should join the mage's college in Winterhold," even if the Dragonborn has completed the quest to become Arch-Mage, and is wearing the Archmage's Robes.
