I checked there, but all it says is:
which I didn't find very informative.
The rest only talks about how to increase your XP, such as with the Warrior Stone.
However, given the claim that Enchanting is unaffected by "enchantment used," this seems to contradict what I'm hearing elsewhere. You can understand my confusion, I hope.
I'm not even sure if the wiki is up-to-date any longer. I figured asking a fresh question would give me a better answer.
The game was last updated 21 Nov 2011. The page's last update was back in June. Seems like it's pretty much up to date to me.
It would explain why Banish enchantment in addition to pretty much breaking the game's economy (1-2k gold worth iron daggers) is also super fast and efficient method for leveling Enchanting.
Enchanting seems to be calculated:
-Disenchanting items (some give more than others)
-Using soul gems to recharge weapons (the higher the soul gem the more exp it gives
-Enchanting an item (doesn't seem to be any difference in what item, what enchantment and what soul gem)
For smithing, what determines how much exp it gives, is not the value of the item created:
-The value of the items used in the crafting recipe
-The value of the upgrade material used on the workbench or grindstone.
Just to be sure, for Alchemy:
-Eating ingredients (i never do that, that is so i can see what ingredients i use for my potions just by checking an effect pop up in the ingredients list from the ingredients i have used)
-The value of the potion created, using alchemy gear increases the value and so gives more exp.
Are you sure? Every resource I've found says it is the value of the item created.
Is the turn undead effect the same, or is banish different?
