Skyrim (with ENB + Mods) - Nights are too dark (for me)
Hey :)

I have installed Skyrim an some of my old mods (newer version) again, because my old HDD crashed.

Actually, i have everything installed, what i want.
But... i think, my Skyrim is outside, much more darker in the night.

Im not sure, but i think, its the new climates of tamriel version.
The new version is v5 and my old version was v3.1.

I also have not the same ENB like last time.
Last time: RealVision
Right now: RealVision for Climates of Tamriel v5 (cuz i have CoT5 and original RealVision is outdated)

Is this possible, to fix that? Like in the ingame-settings for ENB (shift + enter)

Tank you
and best regards :)

Can't help much I'm afraid, in my personal experience of ENBs I've always found enbs to play oddly with COT so I usually just use a barebone enb solely for the dof effect and sunray.

Excellent point.

@OP: Did you install the new ENB in the middle of a playthrough?

I don't see any of CoT's darker nights .esps in your load order, so it's not that. Must be ENB settings.
I found a couple of tweak suggestions on this page:
https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/650980-skyrim-with-enb-too-dark-at-night/

You could try the Night Eye Overhaul Mod:

I know both Climates of Tamriel and whatever mod you are using for your lighting, both likely try to darken the game. I generally pick one mod to attempt to darken the game and leave the other one turned off or down low. Maybe that would fix your problem? Go into CoT and change the darkness level to 1 or 2

Also, are you using Realistic Lighting Overhaul, Enhanced lighting and FX, or ELE for your lighting mod? He suggests using ELFX but I wasn't sure what you were using or if that would mess with your ENB also

Load order is in the OP, I didn't see any lighting mods that I recognize in there. Light levels should be completely vanilla.

i only have CoT v5.
no lightning mod like RLO or something.
CoT brightness is still on "vanilla options"...

But i have deleted the 'RealVision ENB "for" CoT v5' and tried the original RealVision mod again...
This mod is much more better... like in the old times....
But for myself, i would prefer a quite brighter night...

And i tried to change the ENB-Settings like ambientelightning and more.... but i dont know...

I really want to use a subtle ENB... like the Phinix Natural ENB.

But i have a problem with Phinix ENB. When i scroll through my itemmenu, the items (pictures) need a time to load. And my fps gets hits. average fps are about 35fps. but i can adjust my grafic to get about ~43 fps.

i tried some other ENB's...
but they are too much colored, using DoF, are outdatet or are not good for (my) performance...

My hardware:

i5 3450 3,3 (3,5 ghz)
16gb RAM
Sapphire r9 280oc 4gb

I enjoy using Rudy ENB. I feel it is pretty balanced. Soul ENB I think is pretty bright in certain areas and at night if I recall.
