Quest Help: On the Metaphysics of Moving Bodies
I'm currently playing a quest that is a result of the Skyrim Wayshrines mod, or SWIFT, and I am currently stuck. This quest will allow me to use these Wayshrines to teleport across Skyrim to compensate for another mod which disabled my ability to fast travel.

To give you an idea of what has happened so far here it is:
1. I found the Wayshrine outside of Whiterun, beginning the quest.
2. I traveled to a small shack outside of Falkreath, to the southwest and entered it to get my next clue.
3. I entered the Ikrthingrad Consortium via Bronze Water Cave near Anga's Mill (location added in mod)
4. I investigated the inside and found a part that could repair a broken device in the shack in Falkreath, and I got lost from there.

As of now, the quest is hinting that I should return to the consortium and activate a device, but nothing seems to be happening. The ghost of the researcher is there, but he doesn't do anything but sit there on the device that I should be activating. Is there something i missed or did incorrectly?

Note: As i said before this is a quest from a mod, not vanilla. The mod is called Skyrim Wayshrines - Immersive Fast Travel, or SWIFT for short. I can't seem to find a good walkthrough so I thought I would ask before I continued my search.

Secondly here is an option in the mod configuration menu that gives me the option to automatically skip the quest, but I would really like to complete it. Thank you for the help.

Hi ALuX,
I was having a similar problem for a while. I don't know if it's worth anything to you that I'm replying now or if it helps, but I hope someone can use this information. I figured out that this mod is one that makes you find stuff out on your own without quest markers or intricate instructions and directions. I was trying to figure out what I needed to fix the small device on Beredalmo's desk and so I read through his journal once again to see if there was anything I was missing. Sure enough, at the end of the journal Beredalmo mentions that he had a "dwemer gear" and a "gem" to help the machine work. If you have the modified centurion core and the intact element from the quest, you will also need a dwemer gear and a soul gem (I think any regular soul gem will do) in your inventory to be able to fix the device. After you fix the device, there is a very small button on the front of the device that you need to push to continue. I don't want to spoil the rest for you (albeit there isn't very much left) so I'll let you discover it :) I hope this helps!

On the bright side, I did figure it out a while ago on my own. While messing around in his shack I found the trigger to allow the quest to contunue. Thanks for the info so i wont be sitting here thinking it was blind luck!
