violens mod not working, can someone hand me some help?[solved]
problem after problem, after problem, after problem with this game, my god, the newest trouble i got now, is that violens ins't working, and apparently it doesn't work for many peaple, i searched on the internet and there is no definet solution. I tried reinstalling it, i tried reseting it, i tried sacrificing a goat under a bridge for it, but nope!

can anyone hand me some help? the next thing i will try is selling my first born to the devil so my skyrim is forever bug clean, but i have hopes i can fix it in other ways.

EDIT: details i forrgot, damit!

the problem is that the special kill moves aren't triggerring, i am in a new game

whats the problem with all the things you put you never actually said what the problem was like are the animations not going when you set them too is the mod just flat out now loading in the mod config menu which one

It would also help if you stuck to one thread... multiples confuse the people trying to help.

First off, from your previous thread ... Violens is a scriupt intesinve mod. YOu can't just uninstall it without causing serious problems with your saves. Start a new game and tell us if it is now working. I'm not going to waste time on this thread but I'll subscribe to the other if you want to beat his down.

I was just reading through the mod page... there are a ton of options to set. This is going to be one tough nut to crack if we can't find someone that knows all of the settings through use/experience. I just loaded the mod and let it run. I've never tweaked it.

Are you running an ENB or have you loaded ENBoost? if so don't forget the "ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false" in the enblocal.ini and 1024 is better than 768 ... neither fixes the random crash, but the higher number postpones it longer :)

Violens - you set the percentage for each killmove in the MCM menu. This can be anywhere from never to 100%. Default percentage varies for each killmove.

i use the mod, it was working before, but its not working anymore...out of nowhere.

it was like this, it wasn't working before, then in a new game it did, then in my newest game, the one i am right now, it isn't working.

-i have last kill restriction disabled
-perk restriction disabled
-most kill moves activated in the settings
-placed the finishers to be mixed on creatures, stealth kills, and npc's.
-and...that is all i can remember, it was supposed to be working fine, just as before.

Hi SMR ... welcome to the party ;-) that's per type as in melee ranged, advancing ... etc. Are you comfy with the MCM? I'd be more than happy to back off here. Never tweaked it myself.

Can't go in game to check the set-up in the MCM, as I am resetting my game for a new, revised playthrough.
i will post pictures of the mcm, and maybe you can tell what is wrong.

That fits... and I thought I was the mental one LOL.

@Icarus, I'd be happier if you ran loot on your build and posted yout current load order. I always start with the basics... from your description it very well could be a mod interaction blocking Violens from triggering when it's supposed too. If you don't mind I'd like to eliminate the obvious first.

yeah my load order in MO was not like in loot,it was completely disorganized,i have put it back in place, and i will test it now.

the trick to that is let loot sort the right side, then manually sort the left to match the right. What you're doing is making sure that the resourses required to load the mod are available WHEN the mod loads. For mods with multiple ESPs just match the first instance and ignore the rest as the resources are already loaded... I was readfing through it and checking against the mod pages in nexus. Looks like a good build.

Can't make up your mind on which armour you want to wear LOL Been there

edit - Are you using the stable 4.01 equipping overhaul, or the very buggy 4.25 alpha build?

i see shiny armor...i get it... :3

but regarding violens, i din't got it to work, i got the mod to the bottom of the load order, and still, it din't worked.

its something with the mod, or game.
