Knock On Doors Mod?

Been searching, but haven't found any mods that come close to this.

Scenario:

You've found an item or cleared a mine or whatever quest, and return to the quest-giver only to find they're behind a locked door (their home/barracks etc.) It's the middle of the day, why is their door locked? So, you wait an hour. And another hour. And another. Finally, they either unlock the door and you can enter, or they appear outside their house. Usually, you're in an area where you can't sneak pick the lock because there's a dozen other people wandering around. And guards all over the place.

What a PITA. There needs to be a mod that opens a dialog box when you "knock" on a locked door, with options to enter legally (NPCs could still tell you to get out but you don't get a bounty for B&E) break in (opening up the pick lock animation) or something like that. So annoying to try to enter a locked house to turn in a quest when the person who gave the quest is behind a locked door.

Interesting. I did a search on Nexus, but nothing came up. I've noticed that the search in Nexus isn't always very accurate. I'll have a look. Thanks!

Sadly, my game won't load when this mod is installed. I remove it, and game loads fine. During installation, there was a conflict with PapyrusUtil, which Vortex suggested I have loaded after the mod. So, anyway....looks like I will have to find out why that is occurring.

I just looked at the mod page. This has a version of papyrus util included which may cause a conflict. You might try loading this after your papyrusutil. However, one of the more recent user comments says it won't work if you have papyrus 3.3 installed.

No worries. I certainly appreciate the help. My version of PapyrusUtil is 3.7b. I'll try your suggestion.

i wait when the npc have time maybe he sleep or the adults are in the bed when you know what i mean... ( i dont like it too when someone want something from me when i sleep or i do other things... ) just go to the tavern and drink a wine and wait
