Follower spouse loses personality
I married Jenassa, this is the first time I've married a follower. Sadly, she lost all her personality. Where before she used to comment on ruins, mines, caves and all sorts of things, use unique dialogue like saying "Yes, sera?" or talking about how glad she is to have met me, she now is dead silent when following me, and when spoken to, only says the standard "We've stopped. What is it?" and "Let's get going" (which she NEVER said before marriage).

I understand this is a common problem with follower spouses, but I haven't seen a solution to it.
I really miss the witty and talkative Jenassa I had. :(
(Please no jokes about how "it's like real life, huehue".)

Have you tried spending some time apart? Send her home for a while and have some solo adventures. See if it helps.

The dialogue npcs use with you is dependent on their relationship with you. You'll notice many npcs start talking to you differently when you do quests for them. Spouses' dialogue also changes because marrying them raises their relationship with you. Nothing can really be done about that.

But even comments when traveling? She's completely quiet now. Relationships going up (+3 I believe) should change it to "Yes, love?", which it does, not eliminating her monologues when adventuring.

This keeps bothering me.
I played around with console commands (without saving, of course), and it messed her up a bit, as I imagined.
Is there a mod that fixes this, and makes follower spouses not lose their personality?

Because it kind of ruins them as followers. Better to just marry some random NPC.

I always felt that Advanced Follower Tweaks did the job for making followers talkative, but then maybe that doesn't work for spouse relationships anyway? I wish I could vouch for that mod but I haven't actually consulted marriage yet so I'unno.
Others may suggest UFO (Ultimate Follower Overhaul) which might be as good, if not better.
Just make sure to save a backup of your saves if you consult modding!

Edit: I may be confusing these for https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74568 (Relationship Dialogue Overhaul) which is a solid mod and seems to fulfil what you want out of your NPCs.
