It's due to Nexus updating to a european standard and they have updates for NMM but do not support MO. If you look at the MO mod posts page is locked and recommends going to Step Forum ... whereas they suggest changing to MO2 or Vortex ... It's a mess!
well sh*t..... Is it possible to keep all of my data if I install MO2? I don't want to download and update everything all over again!
Do you still have the link?
But look at Nexus it should be at new files, easy to install, copy and paste over the old one.
As usual dont forget to do backup of your old if it dont work.

Thanks for the link though Uncle
I intend to minise playing modded games that need Nexus due to this.
When I do I'll use manual downloads, I'm certainly not rushing to change mod managers from something I have learnt to use. Neither MO2 nor Vortex interest me.
If someone decides to swap to MO2, then difference is that left panel no longer manages archive conflicts as it did before. You can still mostly use it like MO1.x and resource conflicts from loose files are of course solved in that. BSA/BA2 archives just are not invalidated like before.
I would like to move to MO2, but I don't want to have to download more whole mod list again....
You already have them in your download.
Oh. I was reminded that the correct word is "archive management."
