I have this as well and the advice I recieved is, just use manual downloads and activate the mods into MO from there.
It's due to Nexus updating to a european standard and they have updates for NMM but do not support MO. If you look at the MO mod posts page is locked and recommends going to Step Forum ... whereas they suggest changing to MO2 or Vortex ... It's a mess!

Do you still have the link?

No I dont, currently in one game, so I cant locate it.
But look at Nexus it should be at new files, easy to install, copy and paste over the old one.
As usual dont forget to do backup of your old if it dont work.

It just seems weird that the original Mod Organizer nexus site doesn't have the new update and searching at Nexus doesn't find it.
Thanks for the link though Uncle

Yep good luck Forgotten Hero 44
I intend to minise playing modded games that need Nexus due to this.
When I do I'll use manual downloads, I'm certainly not rushing to change mod managers from something I have learnt to use. Neither MO2 nor Vortex interest me.

Well, MO2 really isn't any different than MO1.x, except that it does not have archive invalidation. MO has been updated for Nexus loging change since version 2.1.3. MO1 series haven't been updated, because there is no community version of it. Tannin has mentioned considering of releasing one, but so far that has not happened.

If someone decides to swap to MO2, then difference is that left panel no longer manages archive conflicts as it did before. You can still mostly use it like MO1.x and resource conflicts from loose files are of course solved in that. BSA/BA2 archives just are not invalidated like before.

I would like to move to MO2, but I don't want to have to download more whole mod list again....

Why should you download the mods again?
You already have them in your download.
Ilja May 12, 2018 @ 10:19am
^ Yep. They are still in your previous download location. Just install them from there.

Oh. I was reminded that the correct word is "archive management."
