What's the difference between Paid Mods and Creation Club?
The Title. Sorry

Will be bumping this topic till I hear (low specs of my laptop ( ) or till I find out on my own. It seems that Creation Club = Paid Mods :/ ... ... or till I give up by deciding it's not worth it

This. They're the same thing for Special Edition and Fallout 4. If you have a potato laptop, don't bother investing.

"Let they not writing news here." What?

Also, is it really surprising that Bethesda didn't honor their policy claiming free mods wouldn't become paid?

It is illegal to sell mods. Good move of their, it's without doubts :happyslashit2:.

Just Bethesdas's attempt to add a microtransaction model to their single player games in order to wring more money out of them. It's kind of shame.

The Creation Club is a mechanism to allow more complex mods onto Xbone / PS4 than Microsoft / Sony would otherwise allow.

It's also Bethesda's new platform for paid mods.

All their paid mods run through the Creation Club, but not all Creation Club mods are paid mods.

Bethesda will eventuslly screw themselves because they will lose their client/fan base and people will move on to something else. Skyrim is old and tired now. As soon as folks find something new and more exciting, it will go by the wayside.

Nothing here is illegal about it. It's just scummy.

Paid Mods: Taking fan-made free content and putting a price tag on it.

Creation Club: Bethesda plagerizes the most popular mods *coughfrostfallcough* and sells them to you for money.

"We won't allow any current mods to be retrofitted into the Creation Club. All content of the Creation Club must be original content."

Yeah, ♥♥♥♥ off.

Yeah? Accoding to SCK EULA mods created there belong to Bethka. According to some laws I've read on Wikipedia... artworks created by someone belong to that person. Oops. I've found that, and today, browsing forum with search bar, found that that was found even before me (if I got everything right while using search bar). So, how to **** 'em/teach 'em (kinda)?

"Yep".

Maybe will edit the post with link from Wikipedia.

Bethesda gains rights to do just about anything with them, this is true, but their EULA doesn't claim ownership.

Is it me... or EULA different already? Hm, can not find the link... ... ...
