If you mean the actual path has creatures too diffiuclt, just turn the game down to easier settings.

If you mean technique of cliff climbing, horses are better at it than the main character.

bring a spell or weapon that can do fire damage. Or you can just play keep-away

If you are talking about the Frost Troll just run past him he won't catch up.
Tho the bears at foot of the mountain can be a problem

Go to Ivarstead, cross the bridge near the mountain, and just start following the path. Yeah, Riverwood looks like it's closer to where you want to go, but I've tried it. It's deceptive, and you end up high enough so tha High Hrothgar is actually LOWER than you, and trying to get to it that way is very risky. Ivarstead is the far better starting point.

If you're referring to the monsters, you can just run past them. Especially easy with a horse. You can also read the way shrines for a buff which will make animals ignore you.

That's because it's 7,000 steps to get there, remember? The last one you'll run into is an OP troll.

There are a couple of places it is possible to scramble up the sides. One is the Southeast approach starting at the Stormcloak camp. Another is the Northern approach from the Imperial camp.

There may be others.
