Skyrim Mod: PCA - One Handed Animations Don't Work

Don't you just love it when you have a problem so specific and infrequent that searching on Google brings up nothing of use?

Hello, everybody, I'm having troubles with the "Pretty Combat Animations" mod for Skyrim.
When I started it up, it actually fixed a bug that the vanilla game had concerning the bow and arrow animations...and added a new, much worse bug.

Now, whenever I switch to any One-Handed weapon, everything falls apart.
Clicking to unsheathe my weapon only puts my character in a shifted stance (without actually drawing the weapon), walking/running animations are absent, instead being replaced with the T pose, and occasionally, clicking to attack will not work (no animations, no sound, no damage done to any in-game object/character).

In addition to this, when I had a pickaxe and a blade in my hand (which had a "scares enemies of x level" enchantment on it), a guard looked at me and told me to watch my fire (as if I had a fire spell equipped). Now, guards in the vanilla version have made this kind of mistake before with other enchanted weapons, but I wanted to include it in case it might have some tie-in with the mod.

(don't mind those "Sexy Move" mods, I swear they're just for immersion)

I use the TES Mod Manager (Skyrim edition), and have since deactivated the PCA mod, activated the Dual Sheath Redux mod (with the patch activated and working), and reactivated the PCA mod to see if that would work. It did not.

Regarding the FNIS mod, I did go into the files and update it after I installed each animation mod. This did not work either.

XP32 Maximun Skeleton and XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended were also installed and activated both before and after reinstalling Pretty Combat Animations , and the issue still persisted.

I've also tried deactivating every animation mod installed and importing and activating other one-handed animations from the Nexus. Neither of these attempts bore any fruit.

Now, normally I would just uninstall the game, delete the Data folder, and reinstall the game and mods. Unfortunately, the RaceMenu and Caliente Body Slider mods took several days of trial and error to get working, and in the end the Body Slider mod seemed to fix itself of its own accord. I'm not sure if I will be able to achieve the same results again if I had to, so for now, I'd like to see if anybody has any advice to share. Who knows, this might help some other fellow with the same issue.

Right, so in a last-ditch effort to fix the animations by deactivating the PCA mod, all of the other combat animations were messed up and I was unable to fix them too.

SO! I'm doing what I said I'd do in the last paragraph of the post: wiping all the Skyrim information off my computer (except the saves) and starting over.

I still encourage people to try to find a fix for this, though. I only have, like, 20 mods, so reinstalling everything won't be such a big deal. If somebody with significantly more mods runs into this issue, they'll need some guidance.
