Problems with FNIS
Hello,
I'm trying to mod Skyrim LE but I'm having some problems with FNIS. Basically it doesn't seam to find any mods and it doesn't apply any new animation. I'm using Vortex for modding and all.
I've tryed to reallocate FNIS position manully but it didn't change nothing.
Here the message it gives me:

FNIS Behavior V7.6 04/06/2020 13:26:10
Generator: D:\Programmi\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\FNIS Behavior 7.6\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe

I don't get what is wrong in the first part honestly. Also Creatyre pack, tk dodge and ultimate combat are installed, but FNIS doesn't seam to find them.

As you can tell I'm not native english speaker, so maybe I'm missing something.

Also, for script extender i'm using the steam one, don't know if I could be messing something up with that.

Two things:
First, you've installed FNIS incorrectly. What mod manager are you using to install it?
Second, you'e ticked the patch for tktk1's TK Dodge mod, but you don't have it installed. Untick it.

Ty! Can you tell what did I do wrong from the above text? I used Vortex.

Sure.
A "warning" in FNIS is more like an error, in that things won't work if there are any warnings. Going off of the first part:
FNIS Behavior V7.6 04/06/2020 13:26:10
Generator: D:\Programmi\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\FNIS Behavior 7.6\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe
Skyrim 32bit: ??.??.?? - D:\Programmi\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (Steam)
>>Warning: Expected generator path: D:\Programmi\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users not found<<
the main issue you're having is that somehow FNIS ended up in the wrong folder. Notice in the "Generator:..." output that you have the "tools" directory under a folder called "FNIS Behavior 7.6". This is different than the "Expected generator path" below, where the "tools" folder is directly in the Data folder.

I suspect the issue is that you set your "Mod Staging Path" in Vortex to be in the Skyrim Data folder. This is a very bad place for it to be. To correct this, in Vortex open Settings, then in the Mods tab you can change the Mod Staging Folder - this is the folder where Vortex extracts installed mods before linking them to the game. This folder can be almost anywhere, but there are a few rules: It must be on the same drive as the game, and it must not be in the game's folder. In your case, I would suggest making a new folder on your D:\ drive called "D:\Games\Vortex\Mod Staging\Skyrim" and setting the path in Vortex to there. Do not move the folders manually. Vortex will move them for you once you change the path.

Once you have that fixed, on the Dashboard page of Vortex you should change the Target for the FNIS shortcut (click the three dots next to the arrow -> "Edit") to "D:\Programmi\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe" and then run it through there.

I have a feeling that once you move the Staging folder your other issue will also be resolved.

First, ty for your advices. I moved the mods staging folder but I still have problems and cant' understand what FNIS is telling me to do do fix stuff.
Here the text:

All you need to do now is run FNIS from Vortex's Dashboard. See the image here:
https://wiki.nexusmods.com/images/b/b9/FNIS1.PNG

If it's grayed out, just click the circular arrow in the top-right of the box (near "Add Tool" in the picture) and it should become clickable.

I did that, but it's not applying stuff to the game and it gives me those errors reported above.

Ok, then try this:
On the Dashboard page of Vortex, change the Target for the FNIS shortcut (click the three dots next to the arrow -> "Edit") to "D:\Programmi\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe" and then run it through there.

No problem! Glad it's working. Vortex definitely has a steep learning curve, but it's worth it it my opinion. You should check out Gopher's Vortex video series on YouTube, as well. I'm not sure if they're fully up-to-date right now, but they provide a good understanding of the basics.
