Quenstion about Nemesis Engine
So I wanted to use 360 combat mod and apparently it requires Nemesis. I've been using FNIS for many behavior mods and I think I cannot use these two at the same time. If I have to choose I'm willing to use Nemesis only but worry that other mods that requires fnis won't work anymore. Or will they work fine with Nemesis?

Edit : I just launched the game and crashed right after the main menu...Any way to fix this??

I have been using Nemesis for some months now without any problem, instead of FNIS for Users. Some mods may still require FNIS.esp and its dependencies, but sofar FNIS.esp works fine with Nemesis. Be sure to get Nemesis from the Github for latest version and check release notes for possible problems with FNIS.

Can I uninstall FNIS and just manually put the FNIS.esp in skyrim folder??

No, you will have to install the FNIS Behavior package, which includes meshes, scripts and the tools (Generate FNIS for Modders/Users). I don't know if you can remove the two FNIS folders in the Data/tools folder, but you can check by renaming the folders to see if it will give problems. I have left those folders unchanged.

Well, I installed Nemesis without overwriting anything. It asked to overwrite some of the FNIS files but I didn't(at this point I have both installed). Then I clicked "update engine" and ran "launch Nemesis Behavior Engine". After that I launched the game via SKSE but immediately CTD-ed on main menu...TBH I'm trying to use Nemesis to make 'Combat Gameplay Overhaul" by Dservant work.

As far as I can remember, I removed FNIS first, installed Nemesis and found that some of my mods required FNIS. So then installed FNIS again. I can't remember if I had to overwrite files when installing FNIS again. Works like charm for me.

Oh ok. I'll try installing Nemesis before FNIS.

Maybe wait re-installing FNIS until you find some mod requires it.

I see many mods appear in FNIS when I run it so I guess they all require FNIS..As long as I re-install FNIS after Nemesis they should work fine...right?

Well, it did in my case, but might depend on the mods that require FNIS. I don't use too many mods, max. about 30.

Here's what I did :
1. Installed Nemesis and ran it(updating and running the engine). CGO is already installed.
2. Re-installed FNIS but did not run it.
3. Re-installed CGO and let it overwrite some files from FNIS.

Everything worked out pretty well except my pose mods were not working. To make them work, I had to run FNIS but this suspends 3rd person combat and 360 movement from CGO.(only 1st person features worked). To make CGO work properly again, I had to repeat the process again. I thought running Nemesis will bring back the 3rd person combat and suspend pose mods but the game just crashes like when I installed them first time. I guess it's impossible make them all work unless a full version of Nemesis comes out. I doubt that there is a way to make FNIS focus only on poses while Nemesis only handles CGO or any combat-related mods.

From what I've heard, Nemesis is compatible with pretty much every mod that uses FNIS, so you should be able to uninstall FNIS completely. Just make sure that you generate the meshes with Nemesis like you did with FNIS.

You may be right. I really don't know. I haven't checked simply because I had no problems, although I haven't seen any option to generate the meshes with Nemesis. Or just copy the meshes from the FNIS package? However, some mods still require the FNIS.esp in the Data folder and the availability of the scripts. I may have to look further into this, before the same happens to me.

If that is the case, Nemesis will create a FNIS.esp file in the folder. I don't have a mod that requires this though. But I did successfully convert to Nemesis with no problems.

I'll try uninstalling FNIS but what about FNIS creature pack? Do I uninstall that one as well?

Edit : I tried using ONLY Nemesis and the game just get CTD at main menu. I guess I really need FNIS to be installed or maybe I have too many animations(32k+ animations were found according to Nemesis engine). I'll just wait till the engine is comeplete.
