Destruction of the Dawnguard

Hey there,
I am playing this game for a pretty long while now but some things I still cant figure out on my own. After completing the Dawguard Questline (on the Vampires side) everything was fine but the fact that these damn Dawnguard morrons are still trying to kill me every once in a while.
I tried burning the damn Dawnguard to the ground but Isran wont die and therefore thats a complete waste of time because they just keep coming. I also tried to finish the last quests in Castle Volkihar but they seem less concerned with the fact that there are still a few dozen armed maniacs out there trying to rot out every last one of them than with the things that "really" matter like turning the dragonborn's wife into a damn vamp.
I searched a lot to find an answer to this problem but am unable to find one. So i try this method and ask you guys if you know any method (if possible without console commands) to get this Dawnguard ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out of the way like...forever?

I would guess that Destroy the Dawnguad quest bugged out on you...

Thank you for the advise :D I double checked and none of the questgivers is willing to send me to kill the dawnguard leaders. I tried setstage DLC1VR10 1 and resetquest DLC1VR10 but the console aint doing anything. Is the command wrong or is there a general error?

Try
startquest DLC1RV10

Go and talk to them and see if they give you the quest. If not then

setstage DLC1RV10 10

startquest and setstage have no effect at all. I tried completequest and that acutally worked but it's a unsatisfying solution...

Yea, sorry, kinda sounded like this quest bugged on you awhile ago. You can always start a new character to just to get to and do this quest. :-)
