Quest to kill an already dead NPC, what to do?

First Companion quest to 'kill a leader...', is in a place I already cleared, and when I go there, I see the quest marker over the head of a dead NPC on the ground.

Tried raising him with Revenant spell, but it wouldn't work. Shot 100 arrows at his corpse; nothing.

How can I complete that quest?

You can wait 31 days and dungeons reset, I believe.

Try this and see if it works. Bring up your console command by pressing the ~ button. Click on the dead character until you see their name show up, after that type in resurrect. That should work.
