Do you keep Barbas as follower?

Iv'e had Barbas for quite a few levels now, he is totally OP and the game feels alot easier with him around. So im thinking of getting rid of him (complete the quest) but im afraid I might regret it.

Should I keep him or get rid of him?

Keep him as long as you can tolerate his constant yapping.

Well there are probably way to change that yapping, but yeah, he does a good amount of damage overall, just consider that keeping him is a way to cheese the entire game, it's like having 20 followers with good gear and telling them to rush the dungeon for you.

That dog has god mode on. He can't be killed, even if you throw meteor on him. It's not just OP, it's basicaly cheating.

For the Lols sure, but if you actualy trying to play the game and have some kind of challenge then ged rid of him.

Mutated mongrels from Fallout series are prettier than Skyrim's default long haired dogs.

Its why i avoided having a dog in Skyrim untill Dawnguard introduced Huskies and Death Hounds (which are still prettier than default dogs)

Who wouldn't want a follower that constantly repeats "Yes what did you need?" every few gosh darn seconds.

The worst part Serena won't leave you alone unlike with others companions where you can just dismiss them, command to wait in one spot or tell them to go home

She will be sticking to you like parasite for almost entire Dawnguard main quest

Thanks maybe i will just send him back to the shrine for now, so i can still have access to him when i want.

No. You have 2 choices at the end of the quest:

1. You kill Barbas and keep the axe you retrieved;
2. You deliver the axe + Barbas and get a mask.

No. I leave him in the cave with the statue. Then go get the axe and hang it on the wall in my house. Never to return.
