Lurbuk won't Die!

I'm on the contract to Kill Lurbuk in the DB story. However Lurbuk will not die, he just regenerates. I don't know what to do. I have messed around trying to create a mod in the CK that fixes it, but to no luck. If i can't kill him I can't proceed. The only mod that might be causing problems is Interesting NPCs, but it shouldn't and doesnt as far as I can tell in TESVEdit or CK. However, my skills with those programs is limited.

Any Ideas? Thanks ahead.

Do you have Deadly Dragons mod, with all npcs set to essential?
