downloaded the sexlab mod and the follow me for sex mod, no animations they just stand there

Any time you install any mod that includes animations, you have to run FNIS again to update the behavior files that control animations. In the case of this particular one, you also have to activate it via its MCM menu, as stated in previous replies.

But by that you have selected Creature pack in your SL startup.
Animations SL with no behavior.
Thats an incorrect install of the Framework and supporting animation / behavior files.
You failed to select the patch for Skeleton .. those are at the bottom of FNIS under patches. Only select the ones you know you have.. or FNIS has told you it must have as above.

so basically you didnt install / or activate any of your animation or behavior files correctly.
plus your patches are not selected or maybe not in place.

I had typed something up, but then wondered if the two SL warnings are a result of the skeleton warning.

So check that first, i.e. check the tick box for the skel arm fix and see if that sorts it.

If that is not the problem, SL looks like it needs re-installing. In my experience of Grown Up Mods, installing manually seems to be the way to go.

Irrelevant.
No Adult mod Requirement for nude.
Thats a CBBE Default setting.

You are using old skeleton. See, if updating up to date version adds required files.

And select SKELTON patch from FNIS, when using either XPMS or XPMSE.

In FNIS make sure both the gender specific and the arm fix patches are checked/active.

Also, make sure the XPMSE is installed last, and overwrites any skeletons installed by other mods. If you use MO, that means you need to put it at the bottom of the list in the left pane when sorted by priority.
