Report a translation problem
Sooo, I tried to take out the redguards at the gate. But being level 32, with a glass bow, ebony arrows AND an archery potion, I still can't take them out quickly enough. Bummer.
Anyway just kill them, you won't get a bounty.
You do not seem to have all DLCs, so here is the link to old patch.

So I console kill them. They're not essential. But they just fall to one knee and act half-dead, then when I come back, they're fine. They just. won't. die!
YES it might seem like nitpicking, but it bothers me that these two guys are staying there long after the quest is over.
But I CAN kill them with arrows, so they're not essential.
Makes no sense.
If you have the werewolf form, then that acts a lot like the Grey Cowl from the previous game - illegal actions you perform while using it won't be attributed to your human form.
Of course, you could always markfordelete or disable them.
