Can't hit certain enemies
I first noticed this bug after not playing for months. Certain enemies (not all) cannot be damaged or even hit by arrows, melee, magic, or shouts. Everything passes through. I am still able to take damage though, and Serana can deal damage to the targets that I can't. How can I fix this? I don't have many mods, though to rule that out, I unsubbed from a new one I added before beginning to play again. I have not messed with anything or changed how the game is supposed to run. Help would be greatly appreciated.:steamsad:

Any time you remove mods your supposed to load a save before you started using that mod ... or start a new game.
If you keep playing on a save that has mods removed it's likely that you'll lots of weird issues like this.

Granted. I have one weather mod, and the bandoliers mod. But that's about it. When I said that I haven't messed with anything, I was talking about the complicated changes I see people making to individual scripts and values to get the result they want. Nor have I changed anything in my load order. (Don't know what I'm doing there.) Should have clarified more in the original post I suppose.

I will try going back to where I didn't have the newest mod and will see if that helps. Thanks for the insight.

Another thing to think about ....
If you focus on Sneaking or smithing skills say then go out and have to fight a bandit. Well your fighting skills are so close to zero that Your very unlikely to hit anything. Whereas Bandits only focus on One skill either archery or one handed and block So when you meet them they are masters of their skills and can one shot you and possibly have such a high resistance that you cannot hurt them unless you manage a lucky critical hit.

So what are your fighting skills?
What levels are they and what perks have you selected.
As perks determine how good you are.

I went back in my saves to where I did not have the house mod I added, and played through and beyond the areas I was having trouble. I still had a few times where it looked like it was glitching still, but I think the problem is mostly solved. Thanks to Eternie for letting me know I needed to go back in saves to before I had the mod that probably broke the game.
