Glass Bow of the Stag Prince - 0% pickpocket chance
I followed this link (https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Dragonborn:Glass_Bow_of_the_Stag_Prince):

1. reverse pickpocket Falas Selvayn to put a dagger in his inventory;
2. initiate close combat;
3. calm him using bend will shout;
4. now the Glass Bow of the Stag Prince is in his inventory for me to pickpocket it.

BUT, there is a problem! My pickpocket chance of succes with this item is 0%. Why is it happening and what should I do?

Which sneak / pickpocket perks do you have?
How high is your pickpocket skill?
Improve both to be better and select perks to help.

Add some perk points to pickpocket. Also, buy or enchant some items with the fortify pickpocket enchantment (gloves/boots/amulets/rings are eligible) and buy/craft some fortify pickpocket potions (ingredients can include blue dartwing, nordic barnacle, orange dartwing, or slaughterfish eggs).

You may need to load an earlier save in order to set things up for a pickpocket attempt that is beyond your immediate capabilities.

If the target has that bow equipped, you will (as far as I know) need the Misdirection perk.

Also, this is from your link and tells you how to do it: "This bow is relatively difficult to obtain. Falas does not sell it, nor can you obtain it by killing him, as he is marked as essential. If you have the Misdirection perk, you can pickpocket it from him. If you lack the perk, reverse pickpocketing a melee weapon or a higher quality bow onto him and then getting him to enter combat (attacking and drawing the nearby spriggan towards him works) will cause him to unequip the bow, allowing it to be bought from him or pickpocketed normally." You might also try a weapon other than a dagger for the reverse pickpocket.

I just discovered a way to get the bow!

1. reverse pickpocket him with a dagger;
2. attack him, use bend will shoult and sheath your weapon, so he calms down;
3. trade items, the bow will be there to sell now for around 800 gold (:
Its not possible to reverse pickpocket him because he always sees you no matter what. You can even hide behind things and he still sees you so my chance of reverse pickpocketing him is 0%

Why start a new thread if his answer is still relevant?

Ok. missed that, but given I'm the only other person here you aren't going to get any replies.
