Getting a crime for looking at the Forge Numbers book
Located in Trading Company store in Markath. All I did was look into it, and get 5 bounty. It didn't happen to me when I was playing Skyrim on PS4. Has this been forever?

yep,

it was like that in the vanilla skyrim from 2011,
on the ps4, you probably checked it when no one were looking, or a glitch.

That's dumb from the game mechanic.

I was hidden by crouching as usual. Did the same action from the other Forge Books, and it never gave me a bounty. But on the Markath one, it decided to give me a bounty whether I am hidden or not. Thank you for info.
