It always bothered me that You can shoot arrow someone in the eye, hide in corner and repeat that but using Invisibility to disappear, like it should work, it doesn't work. If they already detected You they will know exatcly where You are with full invisibility.
Bethesda AI at its best.
Some things that original posters just don't want to hear I guess. Probably it's all so that they can post a vid to show their issue ... of a failure of Bethesda.
i wonder if you even stay in invisibilety... try going in 3th person and observe if you carakter is still in the effect. I suspect somthing is interacting with the npc's canseling your invis. You can only walk or sneek aything els will make you visible.
You are more likely to be detected if you move too close to an enemy, swing a weapon (even if you don't hit someone with it), run into a mobile object or walk on a trap or making noice, including casting a spell without using the Quiet Casting perk.
Invisibility will end if the caster activates an item (including: using levers and buttons, opening doors and containers, grabbing and stealing items), uses a magical effect other than invisibility (including spells, potions and scrolls), or interacts with a character (including attack, pickpocket and dialogue).
Info: Invisibility Effect[en.uesp.net]
As I already mentioned in my earlier post, even if the invisibility effect is permanent (constant effect), the caster would still make noice. A maximized sneak skill would reduce noice, but you would still make noice when using a weapon, casting a spell, etc. and enemies will be aware of your possible location. This has nothing to do with "seeing" you, but knowing from what direction the sounds came from.
