Seducing Elisif, not

My character is married to Elisif the Fair. As part of the Dawnguard side quest I am to seduce her with vampire's seduction and make her a vampire. Trouble is she resists the vampire's seduction, and I can't catch her alseep. Is this because she is essential, and can I make her unessential? Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you.

there is a mod that you can make anyone essential/Unessential and that mod also allows you to become High King/Queen of Skyrim and how are you married to her without that mod?

So, you are either using mods to change the behavior of NPCs or used the console to force her to be marriageable and you are surprised that it broke her quests?

Not only that, but she's not supposed to be a target for vampire conversion.

I used no mods regarding Elisif or any NPC. I am not sure how I was able to marry her, perhaps a side effect of some other mod?

Think about what you just said for a second; you are either using a mod that affects NPCs or you aren't. There are no "side effects".

I used no mods on NPC's. Anyway, I have solved the prolem by resorting to a console command. Thank you all for your help. :)
