Are there any ultra-rare hidden quests in Skyrim? (Level 65, I think I finished everything)
I'm level 65 and ran out of quests, I finished every faction quest, the main + DLC main quests, the civil war, miscellaneous quests, etc. The only quests I have left are kill Parthurnax, find evidence of Ogmund's Talos worship, visit the hunters at frostmoon crag and radiant quests for various factions.

I know that when I reach level 80 the Ebony Warrior will come and challenge me to a duel, but apart from that, are there any ultra-rare hidden quests in Skyrim you can think of? Or quests that only require high level to start them?

I could try mods but I never did it before, how do I add or remove them? do you know any good story-driven mods? I have heard of Skywind, Skyblivion and Skyrim Together but they aren't finished yet.

Did you do all of the Daedric quests? Apart from that I just try to talk to every NPC I come into contact with. Enderal: Forgotten Stories is a free mod on STEAM, and it's fantastic. Only requires you have Skyrim installed.

Kill the blades, or use the creation kit and add 20 dragons anywhere and try to beat them. There are also some hidden quests you may have missed in college/Winterhold

Got all the Stones of Barenziah?

Find all the Words of Power?

Completed Deathbrand?

There is a large number of non-quest related tombs and caves. Plus, many tombs/caves will respawn new critters to kill.

No, there are not. But there are mods that add stuff. Unfortunately, due to glitchiness and conflicts, it's best to install one, play it while ensuring you maintain a pre-install save, then delete the mod when finished and all saves made since you installed it, and repeat with the next one you want to play.

See: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:100%25_Completion
"Other than the infinite radiant quests, there are a total of 273 quests of all types."
That page lists them.

Finished all the Daedric Quests, didn't kill all the Blades but finished their questline except for the last part with killing Parthurnax, got the Stones of Barenziah and the dissapointing reward, at least the story of Barenziah is cool, found all the words of Power and Deathbrand too, got all the Dragon Priest masks, everything on that UESP list is completed.

I found this one: https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Category:Skyrim-Quests
But it's a bit annoying as it includes Creation Kit quests, and I don't have the Skyrim with Creation Kit specifically because I don't like the idea of paying for mods, instead I have the workshop from Legendary Edition.

Guess I'll move to mods then, Enderal: Forgotten Stories sounds like a good place to start. Thanks for the advice with maintaining a pre-install save and after I finish the mod delecte all the saves since I installed it, this way I can keep playing the mods with my high level character.

Looking on the internet, other story-driven mods are:

BIG MODS:
- Falskaar (very huge and famous mod apparently)
- Wyrmstooth (another huge mod)
- Summerset Isle (another huge mod that takes place in the High Elves' homeland)
- Beyond Reach (huge mode in High Rock, the Breton's homeland West of Skyrim)
- Legacy of the Dragonborn (your own museum in Solitude and Elsweyr, Khajit's homeland)
- Helgen Reborn (I always wanted to rebuild Helgen)
- Qaxe's Questorum (Adds over 60 new quests including rebuilding Winterhold)
- Become a Skooma Drug Lord (Walter White of Skyrim)
- Pirates of Skyrim (In case being a drug lord wasn't cool enough)
- Vigilant (A questline for the Vigilants of Stendarr)
- Molag Bal's Inferno [i[(Challenging Boss battle and unique rewards)[/i]
- Shezarrene (Another epic hero story)

LARGE MODS:
- The Blood Marked
- The Call of Cthulhu
- Here There be Monsters
- The Cyrodiil Frontier
- The Aldmeri Domain
- Morthal Pain
- Valley of Outcasts
- The Laste Refuge
- Sign of Cipactil
- Advents of Flame
- Envoys of End
- Adal Matar: The Last Stronghold
- South Dragon Bridge
- The Oblivion Strikes Back
- Fight Against the Thalmor
- The Inferno

SMALL MODS:
- Into the Depths
- The Fifth Gate
- Lord Balmer's Playground
- Cyrcle of the Silencer
- A Cure for the Nightmare
- Lurking in the Shadows
- The Dead Deed
- The Bottomless Pit
- Blood of the Nord
- Psijic Realm
- The Grey Cowl of Noctural, Undeath
- The Forgotten City
- The Tools of Kagrenac
- Moon and Star
- Path of the Relevant
- Dragonslayers
- The March of the Dwemer
- Boethia's Bidding
- The Forgotten Prince
- Agents of the Righteous Might
- The Shadow of Meresis

There are more, but these should keep me busy for a long time.

In terms of mods, you never want to install them halfway through a playthrough. But if you are going to, make sure you have a spare save to go back to. You may be able to download a couple of mods which add regions outside of the LE map which will not affect your save, at least in terms of ruining your current experience. But you'd have to ask someone with more experience.

Honestly, yeah, as long as you have an old save, I don't see much reason it would be a problem; if it doesn't work or causes issues, just delete it and go back to the old save. I'm sure there's an exception somewhere, some mod that is so poorly crafted that once it's installed, it borks everything forever, but in general, it should be fine. Especially if you're already basically done with that character; there's not much to ruin anyway, it's either "start a new character to play new mods" or "try and use the existing character to play new mods, and if that fails, revert to option A".
smr1957 Jan 26, 2020 @ 3:32pm
Installing mods midplaythrtough - unless the mod author specifically states that the mod requires a new game - is not a problem at all and is safe to do. Though, as no1schmo points out, you should always make a manual save prior to doing so - just in case. So, what ^6lohvrti said re: mods - "you never want to install them halfway through a playthrough", is incorrect.

What about non-modded Skyrim, are there any hidden quests that I may have missed? I want to have a completed game before I start doing mods.

I know about the Ebony Warrior when you're level 80, I know about the College of Winterhold's quests when you reach proeficency 90 with a certain magic school, I know about Karstaag in Solstheim, I know about the Reaper in Skyrim Soulcairn, I know about easy to miss quests like Kyne’s Sacred Trials, Repentance, Ancestral Worship, Rise in the East, Frostflow Abyss.

Is there any important or interesting but hidden quest left?

Tracking down the various Dragon Claws, Dragonpriest maks (I know there are at least two more on Solsteim), and the Paragons from the Vale where you got Auriels Bow.
