Constance wont let me adopt?

So, i did the whole killing Grelod quest, and I have the multiple adopts mod which allowed you to adopt up to 6 children. I at first had adopted Lucia and Sofie until i built the lakeview mannor which I was going to adopt another child to live there.

However, whenever I go to HonnorHall Orphanage Constance just continues saying "Congratulations, I hope you have a wonderful life together"

I have tried reseting her ai and killing her and resurrecting. I cant reload a save before adopting sofie and lucia because that would be a looong way away from the point in the game im at now, and i already deleted my older saves.

It's not just the HonorHall children either, i tried adopting that kid at Katla's farm but the option wont show. Idk if the mod just isn't working or what.

Any suggestions or fixes for this? I'd really like to adopt sum more poor souls.

Did you use the "Bless this Home" spell on the new house?

If you have not blessed a home with 6 CHILD beds in it, you cannont adopt more than 2 children even tho you have the multi kid adoption mod installed.

If you don't have beds for them, try this mod:

It redoes your homes with a 6 bed child/s room so you have a place for them to stay.

It redoes your homes with a 6 bed child/s room so you have a place for them to stay.

I didn't even know of a "Bless this Home" spell. I found it and used it on lakeview and it said something about the number of beds being 6. However im still unable to adopt anyone. I can move sofie and lucia to lakeview just fine but after going back to honnorhall i still cannot active the dialoge from Constance about adopting the children. None of the other orphans outside of Riften will give me the adopt option either.

It is already stuck baked into your saved game most likely that you are limited to the 2 children you already have. If going back to a save before the 2nd adoption isn't feasible, you probably will have to wait until next time to get more than 2.

If you use the homes remodled mod you can get 6 beds in Breezehome (and all the thane homes + hearthfire ones) which many times will be the first home for children to live in that most people get. Then you can bless that house before adopting and still be able to get more adaoptions since you will have room for them all already.

Guess ill start a new game at some point and try it again. Kinda sucks but oh well xD. I shall still wait and see if anyone has found a fix for it though. Just in case. Thx for the info!

I got stuck on just 2 adoptions in my current play. For some reason my home remodel mod didn't work so I couldn't get extra beds installed. Am working on correcting that issue but there again it may not work until my next game start. It sucks but that is how the mechanics of the game are and we have to work with that as best we can.
