Thieves guild bug

Hello! Some help would be apreciated.

I've done the special quests for Windhelm, Whiterun and Markarth (allready had the silver mold) but I can't seem to trigger the special quest for Solitude even after doing 10-15 jobs there (more then 5 unique jobs).

I'm using no mods and havn't used any console commands.

Problem persists even after restarting and validating all game files. However after validating the files I get voice lines with Delvin about that I've completed the jobs in Windhelm, Markarth and Whiterun.

Does anyone have any ideas what can be done about this?

I feel like I've tried everything except for console commands to fix it so the correct command to force start the Solitude quest and some information about if this could screw up my game would be apreciated.

Do you have the unofficial patches installed for skyrim?
That should be one bug that is fixed with the unofficail patches.
The UESP lists some bugs that can happen if
"If too many miscellaneous quests for Vex or Delvin have been completed before you become a Nightingale, Delvin may only give out one guild improvement quest. Once this quest has been completed, no matter how many quests you do you will not get another improvement quest."

If this is the case the only way would seem to be to load an earlier save and retry.

I'd still suggest restart your computer then load back to a much earlier save game and focus on getting solitude before some of the other special quests see if it helps.
I say that as saving and reloading your game can sometimes reset things in skyrim to work properly again.

No, I do not have the unofficial patches. I'll try installing them and see if that helps.

If I don't get the solitude quest working I'll probably just go for the dark brotherhood and just for some revenge towards the thieves guild for wasting my time, assasinate them all.

I have like 20-30 hours of playtime doing all kinds of stuff since becomming a Nightingale, would rather go for the thieves guild leader on a new character then roll all that progress back.

I'm curious- no offense intended- but WHY is it that 'new' players to Skyrim and ...some very few returning ones...tend to 'treat' Skyrim as ..well...Elder Scrolls Online??? Why is this? They are not remotely the same...trust me..after playing ESO for 4+ years, I absolutely LOATHE ESO, but I still like Skyrim...

the guild has a problem with that aspect, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ delvin and the vixen vex can send 5000000000 missions and not give you the radiants, and that is a pain of eggs.
