Question about a skyrim and skyrim se spell that has no into on the wikis?
ok so I was playing skyrim and skyrim se and in both games I consoled helpmeridia and found a spell meridia's light I then used player.addspell code and found out it's the only spell in the game that will kill any undead by bypassing any and all turn undead resistances it's a sun damaging spell but only way to get it is though console like spriggan swarm but there is no info about it on the unofficial nor the official wiki, anyone know where to find info about this spell?

Doesn't mention the spell.

I'm going to guess...... The spell was something they were going to put in, but removed because it's overpowered in a game where a good chunk of the enmies are undead (Draugr, dragon priests, ghosts in certain places, etc).

it does:

... Once activated, the beam of light drains health and magicka if the Dragonborn steps into its path. ...

its simply not a player spell

same like the spriggan swarm spell mentioned by OP

OK, I did notice that line, but thought is was a effect not something that a player could add to their spells.

I bet they removed the spell just because beth did not want goldly cheat spells in gameplay lol

apparently the spell is used in some way ingame, just took a more intensive search

that mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3980/ lists unused spells. The "Meridia's LIght" spell has the ID 000FEE36. Searching in the CK that ID brings you to a script used by the Dawnbreaker (sword of Meridia) which utilizes that spell.

So my hypothesis that the spell is the beam was wrong, but I was right that this is simply not a spell intended for the player.

well atleast the unused spells in skyrim has no bugs/crashes like oblivion unused or non playable spells, unused shouts on the other hand there are crashing like the bethenic shout only able to get w/console.
