Unkillable Whiterun guard! >:(
its not anyone special just some random scrub guard, maybe the guys for some stupid minor quest or something, but i don't really care, i want him dead because he keeps attacking me and
riling everyone up to do tha same, but i'm really trying to not kill my cattle its really annoying that i can't cut his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ head off!! XC

Does anyone know what the hell quest this jag off belongs to so i can go do the quest and get rid of his essential status and end this son of a hoarker once and for all. or even could someone point me to his base id so i can remove his essential status that way. it unfortunaly doesn't work with the ref id (the numbers you get when you click on him)

you tryed looking at the skyrim wiki there are a few sites that give you id's for that guards should not be essential unless the creators desided to be Idiots.

How about putting that ref ID into TESEdit with all your mods ticked to find out what mod is doing it and changing it yourself? At least that way is safer than using a console command, plus you find out what mod it is.

This may help you:

Pay attention to the "referenced by" tab, that will show you every location that formId (item/thing) is found in.

Or try opening the console, target him and type:

setessential (I.D. # on the screen) 0
kill or disable (kill would be better)

I stated in the last bit of my post that the id number you get when you click on him doesn't work for the setessential code, neither does kill, (he just falls to his knees) or disable strangly it just doesn't work. every other code like setav works fine but the disable code doesn't work for some stupid reason. >:/ it works on everything else.
