Is it bad that I made my Redguard look more caucasian?

So I decided statistically that the Redguard would be my race of choice, based on my playstyle. Since I believe that it's good for a character to be similar to you appearance-wise, I changed the Redguard's appearance to mirror my skin tone. Is this wrong of me?

Neverless I did se that you have some Skyrim screenshots in your profile. You cant have screen shots of the game, if you dont use one share or have the game.

I dont see the problem if you make one Redguard more like caucasian. But one redguard should have red skin. So basic you are doing one bigger Breton and one smaller Nord. Whit little Redguard in them.

If you're tricky, you can learn to make a mod with Creation Kit to add racial abilities access through a spell book or something else of the sort.

Mostly, I model my characters to look like me and I am not caucasian. I don't feel bad about it.. I get miffed when the only option is caucasian though.

If there were more non-caucasian game devs, you'd probably see more non-caucasian options. Caucasian devs walk a tightrope when they do non-caucasian characters - there's always someone waiting to pounce with a racism charge and a quick cash settlement.
