Everything is blue!
So, I just did a fresh installation of skyrim, no mods or anything. But when I first enter the game, the entire main screen starts getting covered in blue texturing.

When i enter the actual game, everything is blue. The cart, the NPCS, trees, everything.
I have already tried validating cache and reinstalling it completely, but none of it seems to help.

So do any of you have an idea what's causing this? And how do i not make it look like the studio where that "blue" song was shot?

Are you testing on a new game? Try verifying your files following this guide, the parts about the ini files and the appcache folder are important.

When you reinstalled, did you delete everything in the main game folder \steam\steamapps\common\skyrim?

Nope, it is better to delete everything. Most mod managers can sometimes leave fragments of mods in your data folder. But you are missing all textures, gotta check the basics first.

It's not the first time I have done it, but back then it didn't turn all blue

So still no go? If so, then follow this guide for making Skyrim vanilla. All I got is something went wrong with the uninstall and/or install.

I used the guide you sent me first, it works now. I estimate it to be something involving the INI file, since I had an enb on.

Oh, yea that is a distinct possibility. How many files did it download?
