does skyrim steam cloud save?
im having issues with my laptop deciding to auto shut off before my battery ever hits the low battery marker of 20% charge.

i don't know if it's a battery issue or something else.

i'm probably going to have to either send my laptop in for repairs or factory reset it.

either way, i'm losing skyrim unless i just run my battery with the a/c cord plugged in all the time.

try copying your save onto a USB or smth
i don't know if my flashdrive has enough space left, i have it loaded down with a bunch of files already

A save will barely take any space, it's an insanely tiny file
not when it is riddled with mod attachments and settings added to it
i don't even know where my save files are even at.

my data folder is nothing but mods.

I'm pretty sure Skyrim relies on Steam Cloud. If I don't have wifi, my save will often be several files back, which is not fun.

If you have one modded game, you should not rely on Steam Cloud, since it can only hold 4-5 saves.
But all your saves you have made should be safe on your Pc since they are in your document folder.
Remember to save often, since when your laptop turns of it will not save anything.
