Epistolary Acumen Chapter IV Issue

I am admittedly new to Skyrim but I usually research problems and have found solutions without having to post on the forums. My game has been running great until I read Chapter III of Epistolary Acumen on Apocrypha. The book glows as normal and then goes to the load screen, again as normal, but when it loads Chapter IV, my player is dropped from the sky, away from the platform and into the water/liquid and dies. I have checked video settings, made sure drivers were updated, ran Tes5Edit, LOOT, Wrye Bas and ran FNIS User config but it happens every time I go to the Chapter IV section. I verified my game through Steam and repeated the processes above. I am stuck and at a loss. Has anyone else seen this issue?

"To reach Chapter IV, do not jump on the platforms. Instead, activate the scrye at the end of the moving passage to open the gate, and defeat any seekers that appear as you move forward. As soon as you reach the end of the next passage, it will move to the left and a bridge will lower, leading to a lurker. At the end of the path, there will be another move to the left, and you will approach the gates you activated before, but this time from the left side. Activate the scrye to open them again and continue on, avoiding the tentacles that reach out at you from the water. Eliminate the seekers as you walk down the path to Chapter IV."

Is this how your progressing to Chapter IV?

Sorry so late to respond. After a couple of hours fighting it (restarting Skyrim, PC, Steam, etc...), it just started working. I meant to reply sooner so my apologies. Thank you for the assist. Much appreciated!
