Thieves Guild Master Armor
So I recently just finished the thieves guild questline but and i didnt get the black variant of the main set of thieves armor and I was wondering how do I get it? I read somewhere that I also need to finish all the little side quets from Vex and Delvin is that true? If so is there any other way of getting it cause those are just boring and feel to much like a chore that I dont want to do...

To state the above with more clarity, in order to actually finish the Thieves' Guild questline and become the guild master, you need to both finish the questline to the point where it seems you already have, plus do 5 radiant quests (questgiver doesn't matter) in each available city. They're annoying, there's no doubt about that, but they're short, easy, and you'll get a decent bit of gold from doing them. In the process, you also unlock some merchant in the Ragged Flagon after doing a special quest unlocked after hitting 5 quests in each city.

It's not actually in EVERY city, but there are four specific cities in which you have to do those little tasks; Whiterun, Markarth, Solitude, and Windhelm. After completing five of them for each of those cities, Delvin tells you about an adiitional special job for someone in one of those cities. Completing all four special jobs, in addition to completing the questline, is what completes the Thieves Guild in all.

There is one additional thing to do in Solstheim if you're a member of the Theives Guild. Talk to the Raven Rock blacksmith, Glover Mallory, to learn more about it.

So I just typed those in individually and it comes up with 'refrence indaviduals are allowed in this context).' what does it mean by that?

Ah alright, I'll do em' then, since it is kinda what my character does after all, (roleplay wise) since she isn't no major adventurer, just on hell of a thief. Is there any other thief like quests that arn't given by the Theives Guild that I could do? including any that are possibly in Soelthstime?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I do have the Black Guard Armor that you can get in his basement, I went and got that shortly after posting this discussion. So I dont really have anything in mind to do I'll go and try to get these little quests out of the way.
