There are people who say that the dark brotherhood questline in skyrim is not as "origional" as the one in oblivion. those same people think that the propor way to assassinate the emperor's cousin is to pick up farniel Firniel's end and shoot her JFK style. This however will instantly get you 1000+ bounty no matter how far in the shadows you are.

It astonishes me how many people do not know that you can just push over the gargoyle sitting DIRECTLY over the balcony where she stands to make an annonuncement to the guests.

I always drop the gargoyle that is above her chair when she is sitting in it no one knows that you made it fall I like getting the bow also but don't don't kill her that way also make sure you do the quest that she owes someone a case of wine first

There are lots of ways of doing it, however it needs to be a seen kill ... if you want to extra bonus!

If you drop the gargoyle on her and flee invisibly the quest will not update until you come back and get spotted. It's meant that you get a bounty for this quest how much depends on how many you kill.

Getting seen after talking with veerzara on your way out will not give you a bounty.
