Get some better gear, improve it, get some magic and poison resist, you should be having a better time against them.
You can also use the shout "freeze".When unfrozen, they should start to engage you in melee and stop using this OP attack.
Have fun!
If using Destruction, consider Frost to slow them down, or Fire for raw damage. Shock has limited effect against concentration spells, like what Spriggans use, so don't try it.
Conjuration and followers are good too. Stealth archery, Shouts, Potions, poison-resist (not to be confused with poison cure,) racial powers...
Potions that both Fortify and Restore Health can be brewed with Blue Mountain Flowers and Wheat. The flowers are commonly found alongside Purple and Red Mountain Flowers along the roads of Skyrim, and Wheat is typically found in farmers' fields or found in barrels/sacks and alchemist shopkeepers (or loose items on their counters.)
Spriggans are vulnerable to fire and they're easier to track when burning.
Seems like it must be a REALLY strong fire, because I've already tried fiery scimitar (21 normal + 10 fire damage) and Flames spell and both did little to no damage.
One the other hand, I've recently found out that Spriggan Earth Mother is a boss-level creature, so why was I even surprised?
(also just level up/train, vanilla skyrim has really lame scaling)
What do you mean by "just level up/train".
Tip one become a werewolf or vampire makes you resistant to disease. So that solves the issue of getting a disease.
Tip two is use ranged weapons either Bows or spells like Lightning Bolt with the perks to knock back enemies.
My "little girly" is presently level 68 and I'm playing on Legendary. Except for bosses she kills almost everything too easily.
She's also a werewolf and I think gave the dog fleas. So I'm considering creating a new one before she gets to 69.
It's also the most mind numbingly boring way of playing the game imo.
