Pretty much, just restart on an older save file

Nope; although I question your judgement considering that you ate the only sample of the most potent poison ingredient you'll ever see without cheating another one in.

Here; have a tide pod. :steammocking:

Instead of Console use the mod.
Add item.

Did the jarrin root taste good? I did eat it to during my first play, could not resist :)

And it was not hard as you did also find out to progress the quest by killing him whit other tools.

Mods ftw. I take mine home and plant it (not normally plantable, but there's a mod for that) and go do stuff for 3 in-game days so it sprouts, then I have more, and can use Jarrin Root to make the most damaging and expensive poisons in game.

That's awesome. That mod could be useful for an assassin character (or any character but if you're role playing as an assassin who does alchemy that's super useful and roleplay appropriate).

Growable jarrin root :) The mod is author Rowan Thomas/Numberland and the mod is More Plants and Recipes for Hearthfires including Dawnguard and Dragonborn Plants. Jarrin root poison--for when you really have more important things to do than deal with another *%^$ dragon.

Thanks! Luckily the mod author has multiple mod files because I only have the Hearthfire and Dawnguard DLC right now (but i'm going to buy Dragonborn soon).

No unless your not on a PC you can use mods for a different device or just spawn them in using consol commands.

Even then; you should be able to simply fireball the Emperor and run. Unless I'm misrembering something you don't NEED to use the poison, its just easiest.

Rookie. You need to use the alchemy/enchant loop. That will give you the best poison in the game. (Of course, if you did that AND the Jarrin Root... but that my be to many digits for your computer to handle.)
