(Solved) All my plugins turn off whenever I launch the game. (mod organizer)
Alright so the full story. I worked so hard on my mod list. I decided to come back to this game because of memories. I remember gettting sick of all the CTDs and maintence that I uninstalled and took a break fora while. But I've kept up with the community and several youtubers have helped me so i gave it a shot once more.
Now im back and ive got this horrible problem that ive never encountered before. Have no idea why this is a thing. Not sure if I've done naything different from before. I set up mod organize like before. Get a bunch of mods after binge watching mxr, brodule, and reading compatability patches. Worked really hard on this now that I've gotten everythign ready mod organizer seems to uncheck all of my plugins whenever i launch skyrim through MO.
My mods wont load in if I launch skyrim through it's own executable. This has never happened to me before and I have no idea why. Only difference from myp revious experience is that I played skyrim on my other SSD. It was running out of space so i bought another one. I deleted my old skyrim folder in common just in case that was doing anything but i still hagve the same problem.

another note, maybe some mods made it through because I have the glitch where my character will rag doll all over the place, and the carriages are bouncing around in the open cinematic.
I have alternate start live another life but like i said, it unchecks all of my plugins whenever i start the game.

you launch it how? Through Steam?
That's the only way I can see them turning off. You should be running it from MO through SKSE_Launcher.exe
no I launch it through mod organizer. The little tab at the top right corner. That's how i launch the game, and once that happens all the plugins turn off.

does it say SKSE or Skyrim? If it says Skyrim, then it is most likely launching your default vanilla game instead of the virtualized game from MO.
Where is SKSE Launcher located?
did you install the version 1.7.3 from http://skse.silverlock.org/ ?
It should be in your skyrim install folder. If you haven't installed it yet, get the installer version and not the steam version.
Yes I have skse downloaded, I had no idea that was a launcher.
errrrm so im back. did a bit of tetsing with it. Still getting the same problem. Launching it through mod organizer and im still not getting alternate start to work. new game goes to buggy opening cinematic.

I also can't seem to exit skyrim properly. I get the ILS at the title whenever I try to reboot it after my first run through on the skse launcher.

have to restart my whole computer just to get another test.
another note the MCM seems kinda glitched. there is a $ sign next to it. and none of my mods are showing up.

Install and launch SKSE through MO! just use the pull down menu and select SKSE launcher

Alright so I should really close this discussiom because after more testing and reinstalling stuff i find out this is a personal problem.
You were right I have to launch through SKSE, it's just that since I have some mods that are active through mod orginizer and some of them don't have plugins that don't turn off. Meanwhile the ones that do have plugins turn off and since they have a few respective masters alot of the game starts to go unstable.
I have MCM custom order, it has a plugin but if the plugin doesnt work SKSE goes bonkers. (my laod order is huge)
the ILS at the start was just an annoying after effect due to my huge load order.
thanks for the help guys.
