Skyrim has no replay value - change my mind
I've played Skyrim now since its release on most of the hardware Todd Howard wanted the game to be released on for no reason at all other than that he could, and now I'm just bored of the game. I haven't even completed the story more than once because its the same repetitive ♥♥♥♥ - You leave Helgen ( If I / you use Alternate start the quest line is still the same just starts you in a different area ), Go to Riverwood, Go to Bleak, Go to Whiterun, Kill dragon, Go to High Hrothgar, ect ect...... the side quests are next to pointless in the game as they give you little to no reward other than 100 gold max and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ flame family steel sword that you wont ever use. Now you could argue that the replay value comes from the different classes you can be such as thief, assassin, archer, mage or warrior... but once you've outplayed those classes so much there isnt much diversity on what you can be next. The most enjoyment I have ever got from this game was the quest / follower mod 'M'rissi's Tails of Troubles' at which I actually cared for the follower through the amazing quests which opened up more about the character... when do you see that in vanilla Skyrim ? Overall Skyrim's quest line is simply - go here, go there, kill that thing, go there , talk to that guy, invade Thalmor party, blah blah blah kill Alduin. The side quests suck ass, the fighting mechanics are piss and the game overall is overrated for it being 7 years old.

I mean, sure, if you're not into roleplay, you probably won't find much to enjoy in the main replay value of Skyrim which is that you can make a character and create their story, roleplaying as them (which for me typically includes some degree of specialisation/limits, but not everyone is that specific). Not everyone is only into getting 'rewards' in terms of Fancy Loot and Moar Power and stuff, I imagine if that's your prime motivation in games (which is fine!) Skyrim would be a bit tedious.

3k+ (Steam & DvD version) hours on my clock for playing this game makes your arguement moot.
Go play Pokemon, maybe it's more your speed.

Edit: Oh, and your rage rant says you don't want people to change your mind.

Somehow I think you're just not a replay type of guy. I don't feel a need to change your mind at all.

I always wonder why those special little snow flakes with less intelligence than imagination always find it necessary to come to a forum and whine about how some thing or other isn't meeting their special little needs.

NO ONE CARES!!!
If you aren't capable of enjoying a game then don't play it, but for craps sake shut the f**k up about it.

The point of an RPG is making your own story, don't follow the questline if you don't want to. The fact that I know many people with 500+ hours on Oldrim alone disproves the claim of no replayability. Hoping that this a troll post.

I've got almost 4400 hours on Oldrim+DLCs. So yeah I agree with you. Make your own story because that is what an open world RPG is best for. You don't HAVE to do ANY of the questlines to have a good, fun game time. Frelance sellsword for hire..... rogue bandit/assassin........ deranged serial killer.......whatever you want to be is fairly possible to do. You don't have to follow any scripted storyline.

The only post here that is trying to change my mind. The others are people who disagree with my opinion and assume that I dont like the game.

Just a bunch of Skyrim fanboys upset to hear someone who has a different opinion. Rather sad.

Curius how can we other find it possible to play several of thousand hours?
If OP dont like the game, it is up to him, perhaps the game is not something for him that is fine for me.
You dont need to write one rage post of it, write what you think is wrong in the game more clear instead, there is zillions of mods you can use for change the game to your own liking, that is how we other do it.

And you should not have need for one friend to write stuff about fanboys.

Right so, what you are saying is Vanilla Skyrim is bad and you need mods to fix that problem? My post isn't a rage post it's giving my opinion and allowing people to respond to what I think. I like the game but for me it's just a tad bit repetative. "write what you think is wrong in the game more clear instead" I explained that I don't like the main quest as it gets boring after the hundreth time doing it over and over again, the sidequests give you little to no reward for completing them, the fighting mechanics are too basic and waaaay too easy. idk how that isn't clear for you. Mods, yes, will possibly improve my experience playing Skyrim, but say the quests are 30 mins long, I can't get much out of them once ive completed them. As for my friend sayign that most of you are Skyrim fanboys salty about my unpopular opinion, I can agree after reading your post.

I can agree that some quests are stupid and repitive, I have said that before, and some quests cant you understand why they are there for.
Like killing Narfu, dont remember his name.
That one did make me to always kill of darkbrotherhood.

I know about the fighting mechanics, dual handed is stupid, you cant block? Why?
But I dont rage about it.

But the beauty of Skyrim is that you dont need to go and hunt Alduin, you dont need to start any other questlines. It is up to your self to do that.
You dont need to go and kill dragons, open up your mind and do what you want in your game instead.

Did not say that vanilla Skyrim is bad, you still have the same options there, to not follow the questlines.
