Dragonborn: Werewolf rings and Hircine ring usage?

I am wondering. Can I even use the Werewolf rings if I transform into a werewolf with Hircines ring effect?
I can't access my inventory during the beast form, and thus can't change rings.
Does it work in a different way, or are they only useable if I activate the actual power and not the ring werewolf form?

You have to equip the ring before you change shape as I remember it.

So I can't use Hircines ring and a werewolf ring unless I have a mod for multiple rings.
So:
a) Use Hircine ring for weaker Werewolf without werewolf rings any time
b) use normal beast form and make it stronger with werewolf rings once a day.

Or alternate with whichever you prefer. Test and see what you like.
I usually hate the single use power rings, if you have a particular use for one use that otherwise the hircine is generally quite good.
