Horse texture not showing up
I installed this mod's horse texture (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35275/?) over Immersive Horse's included textures. I installed it manually, and dropped it into the data/textures/actors/horse folder before letting it overwrite the one that was already there. After doing some scouting around, I discovered that horse02.dds (the one the retexture replaces) is the Solitude horse, so I hopped over to Solitude only to discover that it is a simple chalky white and not the fleabitten texture I installed. Is there any way to make it show up?
I do have Swift Steed's replacer, and I have installed it a couple of times. Any tips?

You need to clean up that link.
Ninjed there.

Why did you manually install it?
And you should not use that texture on Immerse horses, it is not compatible and it is way to old.

I manually installed it because it's just one texture, all I had to do was drag and drop and also because MO didn't know what to do with it due to the way it's packaged.
I prefer Immersive Horses to Convenient because it's more lightweight, but why wouldn't this texture be compatible with it? I overwrote the Immersive Horses' one with this one, so it should be working fine.

Since it have wrong name, did check, use IM my self, it is also older.
Cant be hard to install whit MO you need to tell MO that it is not one normal package.

If you are using MO you dont install anything in Data folder.
Or was you only unclear so you did put it in Immerse Horses mod folder instead?

Okay, bear with me, I'm trying to keep up here.
So, Immersive Horses installed textures OVER the original Skyrim horse textures, in the textures file. So right now in the data/textures folder where Skyrim keeps all of its' textures, the original horse textures were replaced with Immersive Horses.
THEN I came along and replaced the horse02 (which was Skyrim, and then was Immersive Horses) with the new texture I just downloaded, which means it should be working but isn't.
Immersive Horses replaces the Solitude horse with a fjord color, I believe, but instead of using fjord or the fleabitten grey color I downloaded, it's just a chalky white color, which is neither of the colors that should be there, hence the issue.

The texture have the name for orginal horses, but IM dont use them, it have created own horses whit gender and stuff that not orginal Skyrim have.
So for changing the texture on horses from IM you have to rename them.
If you open up the mod folder for Immerse Horses in MO and click on the tab FILES you can see the difference.

I try to understand you, are you sure that MO have installed your mods in Skyrim\data\?

Yes, I'm sure because when I play the game I have the mods.
I'll try that and report back.

Hmm. MO dont do that by default. Have you migrated from NMM and did tell MO to not migrate the mods?
MO uses one virtuell mod folder. That is why you have the mods in the game.

I launch the game through MO and it works fine, if I don't launch the game through MO I don't have mods.

Ok.
There is other textures you can use that works on IM, but I dont have the link for them now. Check IM page on Nexus.
Or if you dont want to change name on the one you have downloaded.

If so it should have this name.
KKhorsemanetail_haflingerhorse.dds

After I change the name, where should I put it? Should I leave it in the data/textures folder? Or move it to the Immersive Horses folder?

Create one new mod in MO, and place the file in \textures\horses\

Better is to install the mod whit MO, that will tell you that it is not one normal mod, and you need to manually install it.
After that can you open up the mod folder in MO and rename it, make sure that it is placed after IM.
You can actually set that texture on any of the horses.
But you should remove the file you did install in Skyrim\data\textures\horses\

Currently in game so I cant tell you exact how to do it, but some other may.

I re-installed it through MO and that worked! Thank you for your help and patience :)
