Brass Tower
Its been more than 5 years since I played Skyrim. I re-visited the game today and found this in the Book of the Dragonborn at the beginning of the game in the torture chamber.

When misrule takes its place at the eight corners of the world
"When the Brass Tower walks and Time is reshaped"
When the thrice-blessed fail and the Red Tower trembles
When the Dragonborn Ruler loses his throne, and the White Tower falls
When the Snow Tower lies sundered, kingless, bleeding
The World-Eater wakes, and the Wheel turns upon the Last Dragonborn.

I've highlighted the brass tower quote. What is it between that numidium and DB? Some Dwemer guy's gotta verbally defeat it right? So why DB?

It's more that the prophecy is "ticking off" events as they occur, rather than a prophecy that the Dragonborn has to personally do everything.
Like a countdown to armageddon ;)
So once Numidium has happened, the Nerevarine has accidentally caused the eruption of Red Mountain, and so on... that's the time to look out for the return of Alduin and the "last" Dragonborn will appear.

Or at least that's how *i* understand it lol
Damn, I hope Bethesda releases ES6 soon with all those details about the Landfall. Or better, the events "revolve" around it.
(I don't think they will)

Its more like a checklist countdown to the apocalypse (Alduin) and the last hope for all of Tamriel (LDB).
like The Winking Skeever said, it's just a checklist to the apocalypse
well, another one
Makes sense, but highly implied that DB stops it or something.
When the Brass Tower Walks.....
The wheels turn to the last dragonborn...

Dammit, I hope the next game revolves around the Landfall and only then can we see how DB checklists that event.
the wheel is the universe
the aurbis
I don't really think the DB has anything to do with Landfall or c0da or any of that ♥♥♥♥

TBH the "prophecy" is just an easter egg for long term players of the series; a tug on the heart-strings of nostalgia as it mentions the main plots of the prior games - no doubt there'll be something of the sort for TES 6 :P

Yeah, like Winking Skeever said, this is just listing the major events of the games in the series. The first line is Daggerfall, the second is Morrowind, the third is Oblivion, and the rest of it is Skyrim.
