Report a translation problem
Go to your Data\Meshes folder and make sure that thos hair meshes are actually there. There is a very high chance that NMM is just being it's usual pain in the butt and failing to install those meshes correctly.
NMM is awful
Final versions of NMM indeed have big issues with files. Last version is notorious for doing this sort of BS, to a point where several mod authors have directly warned about that.
I am sticking with Mod Organizer for Skyrim, Skyrim SE and Fallout 4. I played FO4 with NMM and burned my fuses completely with it. Release of MO2.1.1 was a happy day for me.
