Dawnguard are a group of Vampire Hunters, who want to kill every vampire in existence.
Volkihar Vampires are a group of pureblood Vampires, who want to take over the world.
There simply isn't a compromise that will work between them.
As far as the Dawnguard know, you're still a Vampire Lord, and still plotting to turn humans into cattle for the various Vampire factions in the world.
And they don't stop long enough for you to convince them, they try to kill you on sight.
They are going to stay enemies I'm afraid.
Raise your speech skills to become the smooth sweet talker to make friends of anyone.
Or use the seduce spell to turn Isran or the dawnguard into compliant friends.
Or using the better pacify spells to be able to move amongst them.
Dawnguard doesn't want you to be able to do any of this really.
In my vampire side play through I kept still wanting to get the spells that the dawnguard members sell Vampire's bane and Sunfire. So after each main vampire mission I would fast travel to Riften then check out the Dawnguard progress and was amazed that Sorine and Florientius didn't appear in my game until I had been to forgotten valley and had Auriels bow.
For members dedicated to fight Vampires the Dawnguard all sleep through each night. On each visit I could have silently feed on each sleeping member.
