Death animation...

I have been playing skyrim on legendary difficulty and it's pretty easy..except one stupid thing that cant be more stupid, death animation on full or 80% hp. I would understand if this happened against very strong enemy like those who can one shot kill you, but what the hell,i have been fighting those ghost people for the very first companion quest and the guy with longsword did death animation while i had 80% of my hp.. They dont deal that much damage tbh considering its legendary difficulty but come on,, 80%??? How is this suppose to be fun or real, it is the FIRST quest in the companion questline, they cant be that strong... and like i said they are not that strong, i could easily deal with them if death animation was more realistic, like on 20% hp or something like that, but this is just boring and stupid. And please dont tell me something like , well thats whats to be expected from legendary difficulty..No it is not,because it is something you cant deal with no matter what. This is not some lategame hard quest it is first quest in the questline and it is suppose to be doable on low levels even if the difficulty is haywire. So what now legendary difficulty is something where you cant do quests at all? Or have to do stupid powerleveling or abusment like atronach forge to deal with this..pretty pathetic game developing on that point if you ask me. I have played oblivion on max difficulty and its 10 times harder than this and i still had fun and good time and did multiple permadeath playthroughs withouth problem, but this is just stupid and boring...

Let me know on your opinions or maybe how the hell this can be avoided and still make me wanna actually play the damn game...

It would be fine if we both had same chances , for example , below 15% or even 20% hp , but no, they can do it instantly to you but there is entire fkn list of rules which state when and how can a you perform a kill cam...

Even if it doesnt deserve to be played, im gonna give it one more stup id try and try to not fight any enemy that can actually perform kill cam,gonna be so fun..

Sadly every enemy can kill cam I think, maybe spriggans or bandits can't.

Guess what, bandits can, i just got hit ONCE by a warrhamer and that took away like exactly 25% hp, i had 110 so lets say he dealt 30 damage in one hit and then next attack was a kill cam...im done. Im rather gonna play EA cnc generals than this crap

this happens because upon an NPC's power attack, the game first checks how much raw damage you'll receive compared to your total health. if the damage exceeds your health, it triggers the kill cam. it completely ignores your armor rating in this check.

if you pass this check and take damage without getting insta-killed via killcam, only then does your armor rating matter. it's really stupid.

this is why if you play as a character with good armor rating, you can survive multiple hits perfectly fine, then 75% of your life bar no longer matters because you got instakilled out of nowhere. your armor rating cannot save you with this stupid system.

it's best to use a mod that disables NPCs from being able to killcam you. if you refuse to use mods then you'll just have to live with it.

Look up Violens on Nexus, allows you to customize killmoves, as well as allowing you to disable killmoves on the player

I dont know, i dont like mods tbh, and i remember i did one permadeath playthrough with ork and got up to level 50 and didnt get kill cams...I guess that only worked because i started to max my hp right away, but now i just wanna chill and play onehanded/restoration imperial but seems like NPC dont think thats cool and just wanna get it over with...Now that you mentioned that armor rating matters scheisse i like that since i like wearing leather or imperial light armor cause they look more realistic :D but still dont wanna play since there is no way around kill cams..

You are playing on Legendary difficulty. Everybody can kill you.

Either quit the game, look up the mod recommended, or lower your difficulty.

lol play assassin archers, thats a good one. I could do enchanting but It's boring so im gonna quit, realy sad game and it couldnt be worse than this.. Also lowering difficulty is for sissies, and its different than something that is ridiculously stupid and overpowered and should have absolutely nothing to do with difficulty but apparently it does. Raw damage is and should be affected with difficulty but the fact that he can not kill me in one shot and yet he still does with kill cam is retarded.
